We specialize in custom full-home decorating for new homeowners, handling every detail from start to finish, while they enjoy a one-of-a-kind, red carpet, unforgettable, luxury design experience.
As a former corporate advertising executive turned entrepreneur, who is now an interior decorator with over 10 years of design experience, I understand the challenges that come with having to balance work with life, while wanting a beautiful, comfortable, functional place to come home to.
My clients often struggle to define their style, and to figure out how to infuse their culture into their home and make their design vision come to life, all on their own while living an active lifestyle and building their work empires. That’s why they come to me: I help them transform their new home, while removing the burden and stress of trying to figure things out on their own.

Monique Nicole, was born with the gift of interior design. The daughter of an artist and master quilter who refurbished furniture as a hobby, and the granddaughter of an interior designer and doll maker, she grew up immersed in a creative atmosphere, surrounded by art, fabrics and vintage furniture. She quickly learned how to source furnishings, fabrics and finishes from around the globe and use them to transform the look and feel of a home. As a self-described army brat, Monique traveled the world starting at a young age, learning about different cultures and gathering inspiration that would later inform her work as an Interior Decorator. After a high-powered career in marketing and advertising, she followed her heart and opened her own interior decorating company over a decade ago. Now a successful interior decorator at the height of her career, Monique Nicole wants to help successful professionals who deserve the best life has to offer. Often, they have just purchased their first home, and want it to be their peaceful retreat as well as a great-looking space to entertain family and friends. She loves nothing more than helping her clients create the homes they deserve.
Monique combines her talent and experience in finding unique furniture and fabrics to create a custom-focused design aesthetic that is comfortable, functional and stylish. With a design style influenced by cultural and personal influences, she creates luxurious but minimalist spaces, using warm, neutral palettes with thoughtful color accents to bring the entire look together. A Certified Interior Decorator (CID), she is a member of IDS (Interior Design Society) and her work has been published in national publications including, Business of Home, Haven Magazine, Moxie Woman Magazine, Island Origins, Your Decorating Resource, and Casaza. She was awarded “Woman of the Year for Interior Decorating for NJ” in 2013 by NAPW, as well as Best of Houzz for Best Customer Service in 2015, 2018, and 2021. In addition, Monique was featured in the hit A&E TV series Move or Improve in 2022. With a strong desire to share her journey with others and help them benefit from her experience, in 2016 Monique founded Employee To Designer, a private coaching program to support emerging female design professionals in learning the business of interior design. Today, she continues to coach and speak to up-and-coming designers and decorators around the world, finding inspiration in their growth and success.
